Admission Process
Admission process is entirely online. The college strictly follows the admission procedure for students as stipulated by Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan. The principal has formed an admission committee comprising three members. This committee monitors the admission process thoroughly and makes it sure that the admission procedure should run smoothly. The members of the committee remain physically present during the whole process and guide the admission seeking candidates in the choice of subjects, group of subjects (Core Compulsory and Core Elective), fee structure, job opportunities etc. They also study the students’ past academic records and suggest them to choose the subjects or courses that will be more suitable to them to pursue. The procedure to be held every year for admission to students is transparent and is put on the college notice board for the knowledge of all admission seeking candidates. If there is any change in policy or process, it is instantly notified on general notice board of the college and college Telegram channel. ( VRPCCM)
The admissions to B. Com programme are allowed to the students after they have passed the higher secondary examination of the State Education Board or any equivalent examination. So after the results of the examination are declared, the procedure of admission starts.
The college has made an arrangement for filling in the admission forms online in the college library and college computer centre as well. The detailed information for filling in the form is given in the college prospectus. The students can also get their admission forms filled in at home if they have a computer along with a printer facility available at home. If they wish, they can do so making an approach to the owners of the Café Centres. Thereafter, the students need to submit the hard copy of the filled in forms to the administrative office. Fixed time period is given to the students to submit the forms to the office. If they fail to do so, their forms are accepted but they are not given priority in the merit list, though they deserve admission.
The students are informed to attach the following necessary supporting documents along with their admission forms.
1. Photocopies of Std. 10th and 12th mark sheets of all attempts.
2. Photocopies of Std. 12th trial certificates.
3. If the student has passed Std. 12th examination before 2023, he/she will have to attach an original and a photocopy of affidavit on Rs. 20/- Stamp Paper mentioning his/her pursuits before 2023.
4. A photocopy of a School Leaving Certificate.
5. ST/SC/OBC/EWS/ Physically Handicapped students must attach an original Caste Certificate from a concerned officer and an Annual Income Certificate to seek admission in the college. Otherwise admission will not be given in the reserved quota. His/her name will be included in the merit list of general category.
6. A student belonging to minority section of the society will have to attach a certificate from a concerned officer.
7. A current year income of the entire family to be shown. (It is mandatory for the students belonging EBC/BC/BAXI/EWS/ Handicapped/Minority categories to attach an income certificate if they want to avail scholarship benefit from the institute/government.)
8. If a student has passed exams other than HSEB, then he/she will have to attach an original provisional eligibility certificate from HNGU, Patan.
9. Admission is given keeping in view the reservation policy stipulated by the Govt. of Gujarat:

In addition to the above categories, as stipulated by the university, the Principal allows admission on optimum 2 % of the total seats to the students with extra-ordinary career in different fields of sports and cultural activities.
The filled-in forms, not submitted within the stipulated time, will not be entertained. Admission right is given in accordance with the medium i. e. English/Gujarati chosen by the student. Computer Practical marks are not included in the merit. After the stipulated time for the submission of forms is over, the whole data of the forms are uploaded on the computer and a general merit-list is prepared along with separate merit lists of different reserved categories. These lists are displayed on the college notice board and college Telegram Channel. Those students, whose names appear in the merit list, are informed to pay the fees within the time mentioned in the notice with a view to securing their admissions.
After the stipulated period is over, if still some seats are vacant, a second merit list is displayed on the notice board and college Telegram channel. Those, whose names are included in the merit list, are supposed to secure their admission by paying up their fees. This procedure goes on as long as all the seats as per the category are filled in. If any wrong information is provided by the student, admission form/admission gets cancelled.
